Children of the ’80s mourn as both the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson and Charlie’s Angel star Farrah Fawcett died Thursday, June 25. Jackson was reportedly found in his home in Los Angeles suffering from a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center. After lingering in a coma, the musician who couldn’t conceive of his own death was reported dead by several news outlets. Fawcett had been suffering from anal cancer for nearly three years and died in the hospital this morning. Jackson was 50; Fawcett was 62.
Children of the 80s? Um, Fawceett’s heyday was in the 70s, and Jackson’s career stretched from the late 60s to the 90s.
