Jury begins deliberations in 21-year-old murder

cover-roger-shifflettHad he not been gunned down in 1988, Roger Shifflett would have been 60 years old today. After a week of hearing testimony, the jury deciding if Alvin Lee “Butch” Morris is guilty of Shifflett’s murder began deliberations around 11am.

    Mike, no competent jury could ever find this man guilty.

    The evidence beyond a reasonable doubt just isn’t there.
